Parts of an Emergency Response Communication Enhancement System

Distributed Antenna System (DAS):

Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA):

It also works in reverse, taking RF signals from inside the building , amplifying them, and send the signal from the donor antenna to surrounding repeaters.

Donor Antenna:

The donor antenna is usually located on the roof of the building and picks up the RF signal from a repeater site and sends it to the BDA. It also sends RF signals from inside the building to repeaters.
